Before we all get too excited about 2023 and present you with (some) of our plans for the new year, let’s have a look back at 2022. To continue the tradition of the last years, we again created an interactive timeline with (some) of our highlight of 2022. Don’t forget that behind every image a link with additional information is hidden. You can also find the interactive timeline here.
We are thankful for and excited about our growing APECS Germany community. Thank you for being with us as a (silent) reader of our newsletter (the next one will come out in January and you can join by signing up to be a member for free), joining us at one of our six (online or in-person) events, bumping into us on workshops and conferences or interacting with us on twitter and Instagram.
We are also already busy planning events for 2023: The POLARSTUNDE will continue into 2023 – the first POLARSTUNDE of 2023 be on the 8th February. And our next seminar within our “Let’s talk” series is also already scheduled – on the 21st March we will host “Ice Ice Baby – Let’s talk: Having Kids in Polar Science”.
As APECS is a community project from polar early career scientists for others in the same boat, we want to also to highlight, that we are always happy to gain new people on the Board or hear your ideas and feedback to our work. You can contact the board via board@apecs-germany.de.
An enjoyable holiday season to everyone and a wonderful start of 2023.
Hopefully there will be snow, wherever you are.
