How to Enter: Create a short video, animation or a collage of clips explaining your thesis on a cryosphere- or polar-science related topic. Be creative and have fun with it! The best videos per each category (bachelor, master, phd level) are awarded with up to 300€!

Who Can Enter? Early career researchers who completed their cryosphere-related thesis at a German university within the past 5 years (Bachelor, Master, or PhD).
Submission Specifications
- Videos must be under 3 minutes
- In English or German
- Portrait mode (vertical)
- Explain your topic, methods, results/conclusion
- Submit in a commonly used format (.mp4)
By participating in the competition you grant us the right to reshare your video (with attribution).
Judging Criteria
- Is it understandable and well-structured?
- How well was the video made?
- Is it engaging or fun?
- Bonus: Is it short and concise?
The winners will be announced latest by December 1st, 2025.
